Meet our Founder and CEO

A woman of many skills, in addition to being the CEO of Bullock Inclusion, Samanta is a model, bi-lingual public speaker and 'activist for the cause' of people with disabilities.

Modelling

since she was 8, Samanta has been on the runway for major fashion events, including:

Vogue Fashion Week - NYInternational Dubai Fashion Week and London Fashion Week.

Believing in fashion as a tool for social transformation, particularly as it impacts 100% of the population through clothing, Samanta is also the founder of SB Shop - an inclusive fashion brand and consultancy.

Among the many Bullock Inclusion projects conceived by Samanta in her capacity as CEO, the #SBChallenge in June 2020 aimed to increase the visibility and representation of people with disabilities through its impact on fashion communication vehicles.

Currently this reaches only 0.01%, according to the agency Zebedee, against 15% of the world's population who have some kind of disability. The challenge reached over 1 million impressions and  appeared on the cover of the British publication London Runway.

As an

activist

Samanta has been considered by the Shaw Trust Disability Power 100 List, as one of the 100 most

influential people with disabilities in the UK - for three consecutive years.

In addition, she is the diversity and inclusion leader of the CRBE (Council of Representatives of Brazilians Abroad). She works at Central Saint Martins (CSM) supporting team projects and wider initiatives, and is a collaborator of the Royal College of Art (RCA).

Formerly the Number One wheelchair tennis player in Brazil, Samanta is also a World Class

athlete,

becoming a silver medallist in the wheelchair tennis doubles at the Parapan American Games, Rio 2007.

Samanta still loves tennis but her other passion, is fashion - to promote diversity and inclusion as an accomplished model and producer.

Her work across sport, fashion, education and community, continues to challenge perceptions and open doors for underrepresented communities around the world.

Something you might not know about Samanta... she is also a Guinness World Record holder, as part of the record-breaking achievement for the song featuring the most nationalities - with 195 nations represented!

Ambassador
Maju Araujo

I graduated in 2019 from one of the leading modelling schools in Brazil. From there, I began my career in fashion weeks such as Brazil Fashion Week (where I became the first model with Down Syndrome to walk the runway) and Osasco Fashion Week (where I set a world record, walking the runway more than 40 times in 2020).

At the beginning of the pandemic, I started sharing my story on social media and became an active voice, spreading messages about the importance of inclusion and diversity.

Today, I am also the first model with Down Syndrome to become an ambassador for the international brand L'Oréal Paris.
